Founding Members
Founded by a distinguished group of industrialists, academicians, entrepreneurs, NRIs, and professionals, Vignana Jyothi has evolved into a comprehensive educational ecosystem that nurtures learners across every stage of their academic journey. Sri V. Nageswara Rao (Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao)
Industrialist, visionary philanthropist, and key legal "Author of the Trust." He provided the bedrock foundational support for the society. His immense contributions are immortalized in the group's flagship engineering college: VNR VJIET.
Sri N.V. Rattaiah
A prominent educationist and corporate leader, renowned for his extensive work in structuring educational frameworks in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Sri Rattaiah provided crucial structural, academic, and administrative direction during the society's formative years, ensuring the institutions met strict professional standards from day one.
Dr. D. Rama Naidu (Daggubati Rama Naidu)
Legendary Indian film producer, founder of Suresh Productions, and former Member of Parliament (MP). He held a Guinness World Record for producing films in the maximum number of languages. As a towering cultural and corporate figure, Dr. Rama Naidu brought immense public credibility, patronage, and philanthropic funding to Vignana Jyothi. Today, his son D. Suresh Babu continues this legacy as a top leader of the society.
Sri P. Punnaiah
A veteran industrialist who served as the Chairman and Managing Director of Navabharat Ferro Alloys and was heavily involved with pioneer brands like Nile Limited. Sri Punnaiah is one of the core initial financial backers and strategic guides. He brought elite-level corporate governance practices to the educational society.
Sri B. Krishnaiah (Bollineni Krishnaiah)
A titan of India's infrastructure sector; Managing Director of BSCPL Infrastructure Ltd (formerly B. Seenaiah & Company), executing massive national highways, irrigation, and real estate projects. He served as a Chief Patron and President of Vignana Jyothi. His execution skills helped scale the physical footprint and campus infrastructure of the institutions.
Sri N. Prabhakar (Narne Prabhakar)
A Mechanical Engineer and a pioneering entrepreneur. He founded Narne Tulaman Manufactures (Hyderabad Tulaman), which pioneered high-precision mechanical and electronic weighing systems in India. Sri Prabhakar was an active founding member who strongly advocated that "successful entrepreneurs must pay back to society." He shaped the technical training and self-reliance philosophies of the institutions.
Sri Kode Satyanarayana
Industrialist and tech leader from the prominent Kode family. Sri Satyanarayana contributed significantly to the industrial-academic interface of the colleges. His family line continues to serve the board.
Sri T. Yogaiah Naidu
A well-regarded industrialist and technocrat involved in precision manufacturing and early-stage industrial development in the Sanathnagar/Balnagar industrial zones of Hyderabad. Sri Naidu acted as a foundational donor and mentor, bridging the gap between industry needs and classroom engineering curricula.
Sri B. Sarath Gopal (Boppana Sarath Gopal)
A high-level corporate director and investor, heavily involved in entities like the Vignana Jyothi Foundation for Entrepreneurial Excellence. He focused closely on fostering startup culture, incubation, and entrepreneurial ecosystems within the student groups.
Sri V. Raja Rama Mohan Rao
A key management professional and entrepreneur, intimately involved in philanthropic extensions. He managed campus layout acquisitions, and institutional tie-ups.
Sri V.C. Janardan Rao

Sri D. Ashok

Sri J.S. Krishna Murthy & Sri C.K. Rao
Elite corporate professionals and advisors who operated in Hyderabad's booming mid-90s industrial expansion. Sri Krishna Murthy provided the essential "brain trust" required to formulate the early bylaws, vision statements, and ethical codes of the Vignana Jyothi Society.
